Job summary

TIEN SENG ENGINEERING is seeking a procurement professional with 2–3 years of experience in the construction sector. The role focuses on sourcing construction materials, equipment, and subcontractor services, while ensuring cost efficiency and timely delivery.

You will manage supplier evaluations, negotiate terms, and prepare purchase orders in line with company policies. Collaboration with project teams and QS will be essential to meet project procurement requirements and maintain records.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of purchasing/procurement experience in the construction industry.
• Proven experience in procurement of construction materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure construction materials, equipment, and services at competitive prices.
• Obtain quotations, conduct supplier evaluations, and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and quantity surveyors to meet project procurement requirements.
• Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and supplier development.
• Resolve procurement-related issues, including delivery delays, quality concerns, and contract disputes.
