Job summary

WANG FENG DEVELOPMENT PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction delivery for general building and commercial projects in Singapore. You will plan and monitor programmes, coordinate site teams, and ensure quality, safety, and on-time completion.

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in managing general building or commercial projects with a main contractor in Singapore.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project for planning and progress tracking.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project delivery in accordance with contract requirements, approved drawings, specifications, schedule, and budget.

• Plan, develop, monitor, and update construction programmes; identify critical paths and implement corrective actions where required.

• Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution and timely completion.

• Manage project budgets, cost control, cash flow, progress claims, variations, and final accounts with the support from Quantity Surveyor.

• Review construction drawings and resolve technical and coordination issues involving structural, architectural, and M&E works with site team.

• Monitor site progress, productivity, and workmanship quality; implement corrective measures to address delays or deficiencies.

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, BCA regulations, contract specifications, and internal procedures.

• Enforce workplace safety, health, and environmental standards; promote and maintain a strong safety culture on site.

• Chair site meetings, coordination meetings, and progress reviews; prepare monthly / weekly reports as per client's requirements.

• Oversee testing, commissioning, defects rectification, and project handover activities.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, or equivalent.

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in managing general building or commercial projects with a main contractor in Singapore.

• Proficient in Microsoft Project for planning and progress tracking.

• Strong technical knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and coordination of structural, architectural, and M&E works.

• Good understanding of local building regulations, BCA requirements, and workplace safety standards.

• Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform under tight deadlines.
