Job summary

Dyson is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to contribute to the quality, reliability, and manufacturability of Dyson Digital Motor products. You will lead NPI support, component qualification and manufacturing improvement projects, working with internal teams, suppliers and contract manufacturers to deliver data-driven engineering solutions.

You will investigate issues, perform root-cause analysis and prepare clear reports with recommendations for technical decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or higher in an engineering discipline listed above with relevant experience.
6–10 years in electronics or precision manufacturing with NPI exposure.
Strong knowledge of power electronics, reliability and test processes.
Familiar with statistical quality control methods and problem solving.

Responsibilities

Support NPI component activities including qualification planning and build readiness.
Manage component qualification tasks, engineering changes and vendor validation.
Investigate variations and material issues impacting product quality.
Drive root-cause analysis, containment actions and CAPA follow-up.
Review change requests, deviations and production risks with data-driven input.
Analyse motor tester performance, GR&R, Cpk and validation data.
Collaborate with contract manufacturers on 8D investigations and corrective actions.
Prepare engineering reports with findings and recommended steps.
Work with operations, quality, supply chain and suppliers to resolve issues.
