Job summary

Dyson is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join the NPD Hardware Electronics team in Singapore. You will design, develop and test electronic circuits for new consumer appliance products, addressing analogue, digital, power electronics, and motor control, with embedded software integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics or Telecommunication or equivalent.
• 3–5 years' experience in design and development of electronics hardware circuits.
• Experience in Power Electronics, Motor control, Analog, Digital and sensing tech.
• Experience with embedded microcontroller platforms (8/16/ARM).
• Proficient in schematic capture and PCB layout software (Mentor Graphics).
• Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and power supplies.
• Experience in EMC troubleshooting and DFMEA/DFM/DFX.
• Strong communication skills and team player; Mandarin preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement electronics hardware solutions for home appliances products.
• Ensure design solutions meet product specifications, performance, reliability, cost and serviceability with regulatory compliance.
• Prototype and implements new product design including analogue and digital hardware and embedded software.
• Produce detailed engineering materials including schematics, PCB layouts, FMEA, and design notes.
• Work with motor, mechanical, approval and test engineers to ensure product requirements are met.
• Identify and warn of technical risks and drive verification and validation testing.
