Job summary

DSV—Global transport and logistics seeks an experienced Operations Excellence leader to drive Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma initiatives across the organization in Singapore. You will develop governance frameworks, lead cross-functional projects, and optimize capacity and workforce planning to improve throughput and efficiency.

You will build KPI dashboards using Power BI and collaborate with Safety, IT, and Operations to digitalize processes, reducing manual tasks and enhancing data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or related disciplines.
• 7–12 years of experience in operations, process improvement, logistics, manufacturing, or industrial engineering.
• Minimum 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies (Green Belt certification preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma initiatives to improve process flow and eliminate waste.
• Conduct workflow studies (UPH/CT, line balancing, ergonomics, layout redesign) to enhance productivity.
• Develop and standardize SOPs, best practices, and operational frameworks.
• Analyse performance trends and implement actions to reduce cost, improve throughput, and enhance efficiency.
• Establish KPIs, performance dashboards, and governance structures to evaluate operational performance.
• Conduct regular reviews to identify gaps and drive corrective/preventive actions.
• Lead cross-functional improvement projects from planning to execution, with ROI tracking.
• Coordinate operational readiness for new programs, system rollouts, and process transitions.
• Build manpower models to support peak periods, headcount optimization, and cross-training.
• Provide data-driven recommendations for scaling, resource deployment, and shift planning.
• Lead RCA and CAPA to improve quality, safety, and compliance.
