About VSMC

VisionPower Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Pte Ltd (VSMC), a joint venture between Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation (VIS) and NXP Semiconductors (NXP) has started construction on a 300mm wafer manufacturing facility in Singapore, targeting automotive, industrial, consumer, and mobile end markets.

Role Summary

You will be responsible for ownership of delivering robust, high-efficiency semiconductor manufacturing processes within the assigned module (Diffusion, Etch—Dry & Wet, Photolithography, Metrology, Physical Vapor Deposition, Thin Film—CVD, or CMP). This role leverages advanced data-driven analytics and structured, systemic problem-solving to drive process optimization, stability, and continuous improvement at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible in monitoring and sustaining high-volume production processes, with accountability for validating and optimizing process recipes across assigned module tools.
• Partner closely with process engineering teams to scale manufacturing capacity rapidly while upholding stringent quality and delivery expectations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process stability, capability, yield, productivity, reliability, and safety performance.
• Lead and guide experimental design, advanced data analysis, and interpretation of complex datasets to generate actionable insights and tighten process control.
• Responsible for the investigation of production anomalies and strengthen statistical process control (SPC) frameworks to ensure robust, repeatable manufacturing outcomes.
• Operate in a 24/7 fab environment, including rotating day/night shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Education, Qualification & Essential Experiences

• Diploma’s or higher degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering or STEM related fields.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Process Associate Engineer.
• Experience in a 12’’ (300mm) fab environment is highly preferred.
