Job summary

VISIONPOWER SEMICONDUCTOR MANUFACTURING COMPANY PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled Process Engineer to deliver robust and efficient semiconductor manufacturing processes in diffusion, etching, photolithography, PVD, CVD, CMP, WET or metrology.

You will design experiments, analyze data, and implement SPC methods to improve process stability, yield, quality, and safety across 300mm fab operations in Singapore. A STEM degree and 2+ years’ module experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in module process engineering.
• Experience in 12” (300mm) semiconductor fabrication facilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain smooth daily manufacturing operations and promptly solve issues.
• Collaborate with equipment/material suppliers to identify deficiencies and implement solutions.

About VSMC

VisionPower Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Pte Ltd (VSMC),a joint venture betweenVanguard International Semiconductor Corporation (VIS) and NXP Semiconductors (NXP)has started construction on a 300mm wafer manufacturing facility in Singapore, targets automotive, industrial, consumer, and mobile end markets.

Role Summary

You will be responsible to deliver robust and efficient semiconductor manufacturing process with data driven analytics and systemic problem-solving skills in the specific module(Diffusion, Etching, Photolithography, PVD, CVD, CMP, WET or Metrology).

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain smooth daily manufacturing operations and problem solve issues promptly.


• Actively collaborate with equipment and material suppliers and partners to identify technology deficiencies; develop, evaluate, and validate corrective and preventive solutions.


• Qualify and sustain manufacturing processes to scale up capacity swiftly and maintain with quality and urgency.


• Lead efforts to continuously improve process stability and capability, enhance quality, reliability, yield, productivity, and safety standards.


• Design and execute experiments, analyze complex data sets, and derive actionable insights to optimize manufacturing processes and precise controls.


• Implement statistical process control methods to establish and uphold robust manufacturing processes.

Education Qualification & Essential Experiences

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related STEM field.


• Minimum of 2 years' experience in specific module process engineering, possessing in-depth technical knowledge.


• Experience working in a 12” (300mm) semiconductor fabrication facilities would be advantageous.
