Job summary

VisionPower Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Pte Ltd (VSMC) invites applicants for a maintenance-focused role aimed at improving tool performance and availability. You will diagnose failures and implement effective solutions to meet uptime and cycle-time targets across diffusion, etch, lithography, metrology, and deposition modules.

You will handle alarm troubleshooting, maintenance reporting, organize spare parts, and collaborate with engineering teams to enhance tool performance in a 24/7

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or STEM fields.
• Experience in a 12’’ (300mm) fab environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle on-duty tasks and alarm troubleshooting; identify root causes and solve critical equipment issues.
• Execute tool handovers and maintenance reporting per cleanroom standards.
• Operate and maintain tools; collaborate with engineering teams to improve tool performance and availability.
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors or contractors for parts replacement and technical support.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on 300mm tools for the specified module.
• Work rotating day/night shifts, including weekends and holidays, in a 24/7 fab environment.

Role Summary

You will be responsible and focused on improving tool performance and availability, in charge of maintenance, diagnosing failures and implementing effective solutions to meet uptime and cycle time requirements in the specific module (Diffusion, Etch (Dry & WET), Photolithography, Metrology, Physical Vapor Deposition, Thin Film - Chemical Vapor Deposition or Chemical Mechanical Planarization).

Key Responsibilities

• Handle on-duty tasks and conduct fundamental alarm troubleshooting; identify root cause and problem-solve critical equipment issues with urgency.
• Execute tool handovers and maintenance reporting per cleanroom standards.
• Operate and maintain tools, collaborate with engineering teams to improve tool performance and availability.
• Manage spare part inventory and coordinate with vendors or contractors for parts replacement and technical support.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on advanced 300mm semiconductor tools for specific module process.
• Operate under rotating shifts (day/night), including weekends and holidays, in a 24/7 fab environment.

Education Qualification & Essential Experiences

• Diploma’s or higher degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or STEM related fields
• Experience in a 12’’ (300mm) fab environment is highly preferred.
