Job summary

VisionPower Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Pte Ltd (VSMC) is seeking a qualified Process Engineer to deliver robust semiconductor manufacturing processes with data-driven analytics and systematic problem solving in diffusion, etching, lithography, or related modules.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or physical sciences and at least 2 years in module process engineering, preferably in a 300mm fab. You will collaborate across functions to optimize yield and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM field (Electrical/ Electronics, Chemical Eng, Materials Science, Physics, etc.).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a module process engineering role.
• Experience in 12” (300mm) semiconductor fabrication facilities is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain smooth daily manufacturing operations and solve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with equipment and material suppliers to identify deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
• Qualify and sustain processes to scale up capacity with quality and urgency.
• Lead efforts to improve process stability, quality, yield, and safety.
• Design and execute experiments; analyze data to optimize processes and controls.
• Implement statistical process control to uphold robust manufacturing processes.

Role Summary

You will be responsible to deliver robust and efficient semiconductor manufacturing process with data driven analytics and systemic problem-solving skills in the specific module (Diffusion, Etching, Photolithography, PVD, CVD, CMP, WET or Metrology).

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain smooth daily manufacturing operations and problem solve issues promptly.
• Actively collaborate with equipment and material suppliers and partners to identify technology deficiencies; develop, evaluate, and validate corrective and preventive solutions.
• Qualify and sustain manufacturing processes to scale up capacity swiftly and maintain with quality and urgency.
• Lead efforts to continuously improve process stability and capability, enhance quality, reliability, yield, productivity, and safety standards.
• Design and execute experiments, analyze complex data sets, and derive actionable insights to optimize manufacturing processes and precise controls.
• Implement statistical process control methods to establish and uphold robust manufacturing processes.

Education Qualification & Essential Experiences

A bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related STEM field.

Minimum of 2 years' experience in specific module process engineering, possessing in-depth technical knowledge.

Experience working in a 12” (300mm) semiconductor fabrication facilities would be advantageous.
