Job summary

The Senior Principal Engineer (Civil & Structural) at People’s Association (PA) serves as the chief technical authority for civil and structural engineering across PA’s community infrastructure portfolio. You will direct the C&S function, set technical direction, standards, and quality benchmarks to ensure safety, compliance and excellence in all building programmes.

Qualifications

PE registration in Civil Engineering with PEB.
Minimum 12 years in infrastructure/building fields with design, space planning, PM, regs, construction.
Desirable 15+ years leading C&S engineering functions or projects like integrated developments.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic C&S technical advisory across PA projects.
Oversee review of structural drawings and submissions for code compliance.
Direct site inspections and quality assessments to ensure safety and standards.
Lead project teams from planning through handover, within schedule and budget.
Establish and maintain C&S standards and QA protocols across PA.
Engage consultants and contractors; evaluate proposals and resolve disputes.
Ensure governance and compliance with authorities, standards, and PA procedures.
Mentor project managers and stay current with industry/regulatory changes.
