Job summary

The People’s Association seeks a Senior Principal Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical) to act as the division’s principal technical authority for M&E engineering. You will direct the M&E function across community infrastructure, setting design standards and quality benchmarks to ensure safe, functional building systems throughout development and upgrading programmes.

You will lead end-to-end delivery as Project Lead on complex initiatives such as integrated developments and community hubs,

Qualifications

M&E engineering knowledge across design, construction and commissioning.
Strong project management and leadership in complex infrastructure projects.
Familiarity with building regulations and PA design standards.
Experience in site inspections, quality control and corrective actions.
Ability to set technical direction and raise engineering benchmarks.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic M&E technical advisory to project teams across all Division projects.
Review M&E drawings, consultant submissions, and technical specifications for compliance.
Lead quality assurance and quality control for M&E works with site inspections and actions.
Establish and maintain M&E standards and guidelines reflecting best practices.
Lead complex integrated development projects from planning to handover.
Manage M&E consultant and contractor performance and resolve disputes.
