Job summary

ktp consultants pte ltd is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to lead design and oversight of C&S works for buildings, roads, drains and underground structures in Singapore.

You will perform analyses, supervise drafting, ensure compliance with local codes and manage stakeholders, BIM-enabled design, and coordinate with contractors and design consultants to deliver projects on time.

Qualifications

• Civil and Structural Eng degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
• Min 10 years of experience in Singapore on structural projects.
• Familiar with local codes, regulations and Eurocode.
• Proficient in structural design software: ETABS, STAAD Pro, SAFE, SAP2000, MIDAS.
• Experience in BIM for design/project management.
• Knowledge of site supervision, QC and construction administration.

• Perform analysis and design for the project.
• Supervise the drafting of drawings related to design.
• Ensure all engineering works comply with relevant statutory standards, regulations and Codes of Practice.
• Manage project stakeholders, clients, design team, site team and other relevant parties.
• Coordinate with contractors, project team and design consultants.
• Ability to work independently in analyses, design, submissions, construction support and coordination works.
• Experienced in leading a team of engineers/drafters to deliver the project objectives, and to represent the Lead Engineer.

Requirements

• Possess a Civil and Structural Engineering degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
• Min 10 years working experiences in Singapore on structural engineering projects.
• Familiar with structural engineering design to local Codes, Regulations and requirements,and Eurocode.
• Well verse in structural design software, e.g. ETABS, STAAD Pro, SAFE, SAP 2000, MIDAS, etc.
• Familiar with authority submission requirements for civil-structural works.
• Experience in design/project management works in BIM.
• Conversant with statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedure and construction administration.
