Job summary

Alkira in Singapore is seeking an experienced technical lead for pre-sales. You will own the technical side of deals from first conversation through POC to close, in the room with network architects and infrastructure directors, as part of a seasoned Sales Engineering team.

You will partner with an Account Manager on strategy, influence the roadmap with field feedback, and have a clear path for career growth while learning from senior SEs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales engineering role
• Strong networking fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with routing protocols (BGP/OSPF)
• Experience with SD-WAN and network overlays
• IPsec VPNs and secure connectivity architectures
• Understanding of cloud connectivity (Cloud On-Ramps, SD-WAN, IPsec)

Responsibilities

• Present and demo Alkira platform to technical decision makers
• Articulate Alkira value proposition with market understanding
• Partner with Account Managers to understand customer requirements and assist with technical asks
• Scope, run and win Proof of Concepts end to end
• Assist customers with design and deployment based on best practices
• Provide feedback to Product Management from the customer lens
• Contribute to the wider SE team with reusable materials
