Job summary

Alkira, Inc. is seeking an experienced Solutions Engineer, Pre-Sales to lead technical engagement for APAC. You will present Alkira’s platform to engineers and executives, articulate value, and guide deployments with best practices. You’ll work with Account Managers to capture customer needs and shape proposals.

You will run end-to-end proofs of concept, engage with Product Management for feedback, and help shape the roadmap with field insights in a fast-paced, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales engineering role.
• Strong networking fundamentals are essential.
• Deep expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and static routing.
• Understanding of network virtualization and SDN (VRFs, multi-tenant, SD-WAN).
• Hands-on IPsec VPNs, encryption, NAT, secure connectivity architectures.
• Experience with large-scale enterprise network design across data center/WAN/hybrid cloud.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to customers.

Responsibilities

• Present and demo the Alkira platform to technical decision makers from engineers to CIOs.
• Articulate Alkira's value proposition with market and competitive context.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to capture customer requirements and respond to RFPs/RFIs.
• Scope, run and win proofs of concept end-to-end with senior SE support.
• Assist customers with design and deployment based on best practices.
• Provide feedback to Product Management from customer perspective.
• Contribute to the SE team's reusable materials and knowledge sharing.
