Job summary

Alkira is seeking a Solutions Engineer, Pre‑Sales (APAC) to lead on technical aspects of deals, from first conversations through POC to close. You will work with senior SEs in a high‑growth sales environment and influence product direction with customer feedback.

Location: Singapore candidates strongly considered; travel ~25%. You will demo to engineers up to CIOs and partner with Account Managers to map customer requirements and respond to RFPs, with a clear path for growth in a fast‑moving

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a customer-facing pre‑sales engineering role.
• Strong networking fundamentals are non‑negotiable.
• Deep expertise in routing protocols (BGP/OSPF) and routing design.
• Understanding of SD‑WAN, VRFs, and cloud connectivity approaches.
• Experience delivering POCs and engaging with executives.

Responsibilities

• Present and demo Alkira platform to technical decision makers.
• Articulate Alkira value proposition across market and competition.
• Partner with Account Managers on customer requirements and RFP/RFI responses.
• Scope, run and win Proof of Concepts end to end with senior SE support.
• Assist with design and deployment based on best practices.
• Provide customer feedback to Product Management for roadmap.
• Contribute to the SE team by sharing reusable materials.
