Job summary

DBS Asia Hub seeks an experienced Enterprise/Cloud Architect to lead the design and delivery of large-scale applications on a microservices-based platform. You will collaborate with multiple teams, guide architecture decisions, and ensure compliance with enterprise patterns and cloud-native delivery practices.

The role demands hands-on leadership, strong knowledge of AWS, Cloud Foundry, Java/Spring, and API design, plus experience driving agile delivery in a complex financial services

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering large-scale applications with CI/CD.
• AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, CloudFront, IAM, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway).
• Cloud Foundry platform experience for development and deployment.
• Java/J2EE with Spring Framework / Spring Cloud.
• Experience in microservices architecture and API design.
• Security and identity protocols (OAuth 2.0 / SAML 2.0).
• Experience with Agile methodologies, JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins & Bitbucket.

Responsibilities

• Drive the build out of the Ecosystem Platform capabilities on the roadmap.
• Collaborate with applications teams and other architects to raise engineering quality.
• Direct architecture and development teams with a hands-on approach.
• Establish and own engineering practices; improve and invent new ones as needed.
• Create strategy and guidelines to improve software development and delivery.
• Define and own software standards, patterns, methodologies, and agile delivery.
• Project manage and allocate development capacity to tasks.
• Ensure architecture is implemented by development teams using agreed patterns.
