Job summary
DBS Bank Asia Hub is seeking a seasoned Enterprise Architect to drive the Ecosystem Platform roadmap, working with applications teams and other architects to elevate engineering practices and delivery quality. The role focuses on decomposing monoliths into microservices and APIs, building scalable solutions in a Cloud/DevOps environment.
You will provide technical leadership across the SDLC, define standards and patterns, and guide the migration from in-house infrastructure to cloud platforms
Qualifications
- 10–12 years of design and build experience for large-scale IAM applications and integration
- Strong understanding of banking platforms, payments and regulatory constraints
- Deep knowledge of cybersecurity principles, authentication and identity management
- Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, Cloud Foundry and related security services
- Experience in designing and coding scalable microservices and APIs
- Proven track record building delivery capability with onshore/offshore teams
- Familiar with Java Spring Framework and DevOps tooling
- Experience with Agile methodologies, Jira/Confluence/Jenkins/Bitbucket
Responsibilities
- Drive the build-out of Ecosystem Platform capabilities on the roadmap
- Collaborate with applications teams and other architects to raise engineering quality
- Provide technical leadership during the SDLC and secure buy-in
- Define software standards, patterns, and practices including agile delivery
- Plan migration from on-prem to cloud-based platforms
- Translate requirements into architecture and blueprint-based solutions
- Decompose monoliths into microservices and APIs for Cloud/DevOps
- Lead architecture reviews and establish evaluation frameworks
