Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore seeks an Advanced Thin Films PD Engineer to lead Plasma-CVD and diffusion process development for next-generation NAND products.

You will design, optimize, and transfer recipes, and work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced R&D environment. This role requires a PhD or equivalent experience, strong data analysis and experimental design skills, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field or BS/MS plus substantial industry/research experience.
• Strong troubleshooting, experimental design and data analysis skills.
• Solid understanding of CVD and diffusion deposition principles.
• Knowledge of plasma sources used in plasma CVD is highly preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver process packages to meet product specs and program targets.
• Characterize processes using techniques (SEM, TEM, XPS, SIMS, AFM).
• Design and execute experiments, analyze data and present results.
• Lead R&D Pilot Line activities in the Fab.
• Improve process maturity and sustain processes in the fab under ownership.
• Collaborate with Process Integration, Metrology, and equipment vendors.
• Develop recipes to meet structural and electrical requirements.
• Support cross-functional failure analysis and yield improvement.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency and quality.
