Job summary

CHINA COMMUNICATIONS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LIMITED (SINGAPORE BRANCH) is seeking a seasoned Planning Engineer to collaborate with the Project Manager/Director to plan, monitor, and report on project controls and progress measurements.

You will lead project planners in developing work breakdown structures, schedules, and resource planning, and you will forecast progress trends, identify corrective actions, and ensure alignment with project milestones and baseline targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering recognised by PEB.
• 8+ years of experience in construction planning and programme coordination.
• Familiar with Singapore Codes and Practices.
• Proficient in planning software: MS Project, AutoCAD, P6 Primavera.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player and proactive attitude.
• LTA experience preferred.
• Working location: West area, Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, and report on project controls and progress expenditures.
• Lead and support planners in WBS, schedules, manpower, and milestones.
• Develop corrective actions and forecast progress trends.
• Attend coordination meetings with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Highlight potential delays to project managers and directors.
• Benchmark current status against baseline and critical path.
• Set planning targets and allocate resources as needed.
• Produce weekly/monthly progress reports and S-Curves.
• Use Primavera to manage delivery schedules and plans.
