Job summary

China Communications Construction Company Limited (Singapore Branch) invites a seasoned Senior Site Manager to plan, supervise, and drive daily operations on major infrastructure projects in Singapore East.

You will review drawings and contracts, coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and authorities, and lead safety, cost control, progress reporting, and issue resolution to ensure timely delivery and compliance with requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• At least 8 years’ experience in civil/infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore construction regulations.
• Ability to lead site teams and manage subcontractors effectively.
• Proficient in MS Office and project management software.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and manage daily site operations for infrastructure projects.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Develop and monitor work schedules, progress, and resource allocation to ensure timely project delivery.
• Coordinate and liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, authorities, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure site work complies with safety, health, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Control and monitor project costs, manpower, and materials to achieve efficiency.
• Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical or operational issues.
• Lead site meetings, prepare progress reports, and update management on project status.
• Handle claims, variations, and ensure proper documentation.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Project Manager or senior management.
