Job summary

CHINA RAILWAY TUNNEL GROUP CO., LTD. (SINGAPORE BRANCH) seeks a Planning Engineer to support project planning and scheduling for a construction project in Singapore. The role focuses on developing and maintaining the project programme, monitoring progress and coordinating with site teams.

The candidate should have at least 5 years in planning engineering, MRT/infrastructure exposure, and proficiency with Primavera P6 or MS Project to produce timely reports and mitigation plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in construction projects.
• Experience in MRT or infrastructure projects is required.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling, progress monitoring and reporting.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain the project programme and schedule.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential delays and risks.
• Update programme based on site progress and project requirements.
• Prepare progress reports, including weekly and monthly reports.
• Coordinate with site teams, engineers and management to ensure alignment of project schedule.
• Analyse project performance and propose mitigation measures for delays.
• Assist in planning and sequencing of construction activities.
• Ensure proper documentation of all planning and scheduling activities.
