Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking an experienced payroll professional in Singapore to manage end-to-end payroll operations with external vendors. You will handle CPF, tax reporting, and statutory requirements, and support cross-border mobility and expatriate payroll processes.

The role requires 6–8 years of hands-on payroll experience, strong controls, and the ability to lead a small team. A Singapore-focused payroll background and confidentiality are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–8 years of payroll experience with recent hands-on payroll processing.
• Ability to independently manage end-to-end monthly payroll with minimal supervision.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore payroll, CPF, IRAS, leave administration and payroll controls.
• Experience with payroll audits, reconciliations and employee queries.
• Experience managing payroll vendors; vendor background is advantageous.
• Able to lead at least 1 team member or progress to team lead.
• Comfortable handling large datasets with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Open to cross-border/global mobility matters; prior experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll operations with external payroll vendors, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Handle annual payroll, CPF, tax reporting and statutory requirements.
• Manage payroll vendors, resolve issues and drive process improvements.
• Support payroll for expatriates, international assignments, trainees and mobility arrangements.
• Support payroll audits, statutory surveys, compliance reviews and government-paid leave claims.
• Handle employee enquiries on payroll, tax and statutory deductions.
• Maintain and improve payroll procedures, controls, documentation and systems.
• Manage employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding/offboarding-related transactions and benefits administration.
• Handle work pass applications, cancellations and cross-border mobility matters.
• Support international assignments, secondments and other employee movements.
