Aufgaben

• Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, picking, packing, loading and dispatch.
• Monitor productivity and ensure on-time order processing.
• Plan delivery routes, vehicle allocation and daily schedules.
• Investigate delivery discrepancies, customer complaints, returns and missing items.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, coordinate stock takes and reconcile discrepancies.
• Operate and improve AX, WMS, Quick Scan and Auto Count systems; generate reports.
• Maintain safety, quality and compliance with company SOPs.
• Assist Operations Manager in SOP reviews, cost control and resource utilization.
• Coordinate with Customer Service, Purchasing, Finance and other departments.
• Develop staff through training and performance management; manage manpower and overtime.

Job Summary:

To assist the Operations Manager in overseeing daily warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring smooth workflow, accurate inventory management, timely deliveries, staff productivity, workplace safety and compliance with company procedures.

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of operations processes and contribute meaningfully to the efficiency and continuous improving of our business.

You will play a key role in overseeing and improving our operations across 3PL, internal logistics, warehouse management, inventory control, factory quality control, order fulfilment and after-sales support.

At the Assistant Operations Manager level, this role will provide an opportunity to work closely with wider operations team and progressively take on greater ownership and responsibilities.

The ideal candidate is someone who is hands-on, highly organised and comfortable solving problems and coordinating with multiple stake holders and driving issues through to resolution.

This opportunity is also suitable for candidates who are currently at Senior Executive level and are eager to take on greater responsibilities, strengthen their leadership capabilities and progress towards an Assistant Manager role.

What you will be doing:

Warehouse and Logistic Operations

• Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, packing, loading and dispatch.
• Monitor warehouse productivity and ensure orders are processed on time.
• Plan delivery routes, vehicle allocation and daily delivery schedules.
• Investigate delivery discrepancies, customer complaints, returned goods and missing items

Inventory and Stock Control

• Monitor stock accuracy and ensure proper inventory control.
• Coordinate stock takes, cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
• Investigate stock discrepancies, damaged cartons, short-picking and incorrect stock movements.
• Ensure proper FIFO practices and monitor product expiry dates.

Systems and Operational Reporting

• Ensure accurate use of AX, WMS, Quick Scan and Auto Count systems.
• Monitor system errors, stock movement discrepancies and operational issues.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly operational reports.
• Work with relevant departments to improve system processes and operational efficiency.

Safety, Quality and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace safety requirements and warehouse procedures.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and safe storage practices.
• Ensure frozen and chilled products are handled and stored at the required temperatures.
• Report accidents, equipment breakdowns and safety hazards promptly.
• Conduct warehouse audits with the QA team to ensure food safety compliances are met

Process Improvement and Management Support

• Assist the Operations Manager in implementing company policies and operational plans.
• Review and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Control operating costs and improve manpower and equipment utilisation.
• Coordinate with Customer Service, Purchasing, Finance and other departments.
• Work closely with Sales and Customer service teams to resolve operational issues affecting customers.
• Support the development and improvement of processes relating to order fulfilment and after sales operations.
• Data driven decision making. Use performance metric and analytics to spot operational weakness.

Staff and Manpower Management

• Supervise warehouse personnel, supervisors and delivery drivers.
• Prepare manpower allocation, work schedules and overtime arrangements.
• Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, productivity and work performance.
• Train staff on operational procedures and ensure duties are carried out correctly.
• Handle staff discipline and elevate HR matters to Management when necessary.

Perform other duties assigned by Management from time to time
