Job summary

NCS is seeking an Infra Engineer / Senior Engineer, Network (Day 2) in Singapore to join the networking team. You will troubleshoot, resolve, and proactively manage network and infrastructure issues across enterprise/campus and data center environments.

You will own incidents end-to-end, perform health checks, and participate in incident management with a focus on high availability and security. Senior engineers mentor juniors and collaborate across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4+ years IT or networking experience.
• CCNA/CCNP/CCIE certifications.
• Networking knowledge from basic to advanced routing, switching, security, and performance monitoring.
• Experience in data centre networking (Nexus, NX-OS) or enterprise/campus networks.
• Diploma, degree or equivalent.
• Singapore Citizen only.

Responsibilities

• Analyse incidents and issues that impact infrastructure operations.
• Troubleshoot network and infrastructure issues of varying complexity.
• Own incidents from escalation to closure with timely updates.
• Identify signs of performance decline post-upgrades or maintenance.
• Perform proactive health checks and ensure service reliability.
• Participate in incident management and adhere to SLAs.
• Review and implement network change requests.
• Perform impact analysis for planned maintenance and execute failovers.
• Maintain network documentation and update procedures.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams and communicate with stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers as needed.
