Job summary

NCS PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly motivated Infra Engineer, Network in Singapore to design, implement, and optimize enterprise and data centre network infrastructure.

You will translate high-level architecture into detailed designs, validate performance, and ensure security compliance. Responsibilities include documenting designs, configuring networks, conducting tests, and proactive health checks to ensure reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• 2-6 years of IT or networking experience.
• Advanced Routing and Switching, Wireless networks, and Network Security.
• Degree or equivalent in IT/Networking.

Responsibilities

• Translate high-level network architecture into detailed designs with diagrams and failover plans.
• Prepare requirement documents and design validations for network solutions.
• Maintain documentation such as test plans and design artefacts.
• Configure and implement network infrastructure per design and security requirements.
• Perform baseline security configurations to meet compliance and best practices.
• Use network tools to monitor, analyse, and report on performance and status.
• Investigate root causes and validate proper operation of network installations.
• Perform proactive health checks to maintain service reliability.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate network performance and integration.
• Conduct functional and integration tests and report issues.

We are looking for a highly motivated Infra Engineer, Network to design, implement, and optimise enterprise and data centre network infrastructure. In this role, you will work on end-to-end network solutions from translating high-level architecture into detailed designs to validating performance, ensuring security compliance, and driving operational excellence.

What will you do?

• Translate high-level network architecture into detailed technical designs including physical and logical diagrams, traffic flows, and failover plans
• Prepare clear and concise requirement documents and component-level design validations for simple or semi-complex network solutions
• Maintain accurate documentation such as test plans, traceability matrices, and design artefacts
• Configure and implement network infrastructure in accordance with design and security requirements
• Perform baseline security configuration of devices to meet compliance and best practices
• Use network management tools to monitor, analyse, and report on network performance and status
• Participate in root cause investigations validating proper operation of network installations
• Resolve routine to moderately complex network issues using diagnostic tools and structured troubleshooting methods
• Perform proactive health checks to detect problems early and maintain service reliability
• Develop and execute test plans to validate network performance, reliability, and integration
• Conduct functional and integration tests, document results, and report issues or risks
• Link requirements to test cases with proper traceability for end-to-end solution validation

Essential Qualifications

• 2-6 years of IT or networking experience
• Networking knowledge: Advanced Routing and Switching, Advanced Wired and Wireless networks, Network Security (ACL, Firewall,VPN, ISE), Network Performance Monitoring, Data Center Network etc
• Cisco Certified Network Associate / Professional (CCNA or CCNP) preferred
• Degree or equivalent
