Job summary

Kulicke and Soffa Industries, Inc. seeks a Senior Engineer / Staff Engineer in AS Mechanical Engineering (AP BU) in Singapore to lead high-precision electro-mechanical module development from concept to production and customer support.

You will design CAD models in NX/ProEngineer, validate subsystems, collaborate with EE and Software teams, mentor teammates, and drive manufacturability and quality improvements across the full product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in relevant industry.
• Proven track record in product development of industrial equipment.
• Advanced knowledge of high precision electro-mechanical components.
• Experience with semiconductor equipment.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements and validation plans based on system level specs.
• Conceptualize, design and create drawings in CAD.
• Specify commercial components to achieve target performance.
• Analyse and solve design challenges to performance requirements.
• Develop and execute validation tests for electro-mechanical subsystems.
• Work closely with EE and Software teams to achieve module performance.
• Ensure effective transition to manufacturing of new modules and designs.
• Mentor junior team members to ensure productivity and design quality.
• Prioritize activities and guide project team members to meet deadlines.
