Job summary

Kulicke & Soffa in Singapore invites an Associate Engineer to join the Advanced Solutions Mechanical Engineering team. You will assemble electro-mechanical modules for prototypes and low-volume production using schematics and work instructions, and you will support concept validation, testing, and documentation.

You will troubleshoot issues, manage lab tools and inventory, and ensure calibration and safety compliance in a well-equipped lab environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• At least 6 years of experience.
• Experience with mechanical 3D CAD and data management (BOM, part databases).
• Hands-on experience in module assembly and testing.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting and rework processes.
• Ability to use power tools, measurement instruments and calibration equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical modules according to specs.
• Conduct concept validation, tests, and document results.
• Perform rework, repairs and adjustments to resolve issues.
• Manage raw material inventory including receiving, storage and distribution.
• Maintain a clean lab and ensure tools are calibrated and ready.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE usage.
