Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (S) Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a hands-on, senior leader for External Manufacturing Operations - Backend Engineering. You will lead technical and operational engagement with external suppliers for thermal cooling solutions and value engineering, ensuring manufacturing readiness for New Product Introduction and high-volume production.

Hands-on people leader with strong technical judgement and structured problem solving.

Responsibilities

Lead supplier engagement for thermal cooling solutions and related manufacturing processes.
Plan and drive NPI, qualification and ramp readiness for new products and suppliers.
Drive supplier manufacturing readiness through PFMEA, control plans, equipment readiness and traceability.
Monitor supplier performance for yield and process stability; resolve deviations.
Lead corrective actions and recurrence prevention for manufacturing excursions.
Lead value engineering initiatives covering material and process optimization/localization.
Coach and develop engineers with clear goals and performance expectations.
Align cross-functional teams and provide data-based updates to management.
Support audits and travel regionally or internationally as required.
