Job summary

Ministry of Education in Singapore seeks a Manager/Senior Manager, Development Planning to join the Development Planning Branch. You will plan and manage school capacity and physical infrastructure to create a conducive learning environment.

You will lead end-to-end infrastructure programmes, collaborate with schools and agencies, and monitor demand for school places across Singapore, using land-use and urban planning expertise to inform policy and strategy.

Qualifications

• Background in land-use planning and development; urban planning preferred.
• Strong planning, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous with an interest in statistics, data collection and analysis.
• Good organisational awareness, written communication and people skills.
• Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of geospatial software and data analytics tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of infrastructure programmes or projects for schools.
• Work with schools, internal divisions and government agencies to drive projects and land-related planning.
• Monitor and review demand and supply of school places across Singapore.
