Job summary

AIA Investment Management in Singapore is seeking a Senior Manager, Operational Risk to lead the risk management function and provide independent risk oversight. You will partner with stakeholders to strengthen the risk framework and ensure regulatory compliance across the business.

The role entails coordinating risk reporting to Senior Management and the Board, driving RCSA processes, and overseeing key risk domains such as outsourcing, cyber, and business continuity.

Qualifications

• Min 10 years of working experience within an asset management business in risk, compliance or audit.
• Knowledge of Asset Management Regulations and Singapore regulatory framework preferred.
• Hands-on experience with risk management frameworks, RCSA and key risk indicators.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the operational risk framework, including RCSA, risk indicators and risk event management.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify, assess, monitor and mitigate operational risks.
• Coordinate risk reporting for Senior Management, the Board and governance committees.
• Provide independent second-line risk oversight across outsourcing, third‑party risk, business continuity and cyber/technology risks.
• Facilitate risk governance activities, control assessments and risk certifications.
• Support regulatory developments and remediation plans with stakeholders.
• Investigate risk events, perform root cause analyses and drive corrective actions to strengthen resilience.
