Job summary

The Senior Manager (Projects) at Government Technology Agency (GovTech) will support the formation and development of the North West Community Development Council, promoting social cohesion and harmony through partnership-building with schools, NGOs and government agencies. The role also drives expansion of Social Support programmes to uplift residents and strengthen grassroots resilience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant leadership experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work independently.
• Ability to lead and manage teams, engage with stakeholders including corporates and social service agencies, and oversee multiple projects concurrently.
• Role requires flexibility to work on weekday nights and weekends.
• Knowledge of a second language (Mandarin, Malay, Tamil or dialects) is advantageous; prior volunteer or grant management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Programme Development — Formulate, implement, and review Social Support programme plans aligned with CDC goals.
• Team Leadership & Performance Management — Lead a team of Managers and Executive Assistants, set targets, ensure delivery.
• Community Programme Implementation — Guide collaboration with Council Members to plan and implement programmes.
• Stakeholder & Partnership Management — Build relationships with schools, community organisations, and government agencies.
• Joint Project Oversight — Lead development and implementation of joint projects with community stakeholders.
• Council Operations Management — Oversee daily operations of the Council and support to partners.
• Reporting & Coordination with PA HQ — Submit progress reports and facilitate coordination for PA HQ projects.
• Ad-hoc Leadership Contributions — Participate in Task Forces and cross-departmental reviews as required.
