Job summary

Public Service Division in Singapore is seeking a Senior Manager (Projects) to support the formation and development of the Community Development Council in the North West district, promoting social cohesion, community bonding, and racial harmony through networking with schools, community organisations and government agencies.

The role leads a team of Managers and Executive Assistants to plan and implement Social Support programmes, oversee joint projects, and report progress to PA Headquarters,

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with proven team leadership.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work independently.
• Experience engaging with stakeholders, including corporates and social service agencies, and overseeing multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Programme Development — assist in formulating and reviewing Social Support plans.
• Team Leadership & Performance Management — lead Managers and Executive Assistants to meet targets.
• Community Programme Implementation — guide teams to plan and run Social Support programmes.
• Stakeholder & Partnership Management — build networks with schools, community groups and agencies.
• Joint Project Oversight — oversee joint projects with community stakeholders.
• Council Operations Management — supervise daily council operations and admin support.
• Reporting & Coordination with PA HQ — prepare progress reports and coordinate with HQ.
• Ad-hoc Leadership Contributions — participate in Task Forces and cross‑department projects.
