Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant working experience and proven team leadership.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work independently.
• Experience engaging with stakeholders, including corporates and social service agencies, and overseeing multiple projects.
• Willingness to work weekday nights and weekends.
• Knowledge of volunteer management, grant management or secretariat work is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Programme Development - Assist the Deputy General Manager/Assistant Director in formulating, implementing and reviewing Social Support programme plans, ensuring alignment with CDC's community goals and PA's organisational objectives.
• Team Leadership & Performance Management - Lead, supervise and guide a team of Managers and Executive Assistants, setting relevant targets and ensuring these are met to achieve CDC's overall outcomes.
• Community Programme Implementation - Lead and guide Managers to work closely with North West CDC's Council Members to conceptualise, plan and implement Social Support programmes that address community needs.
• Stakeholder & Partnership Management - Build and strengthen relationships with schools, community organisations and government agencies, and develop new networks to enhance the reach and impact of Social Support programmes.
• Joint Project Oversight - Lead and oversee the development and implementation of joint projects and programmes with community stakeholders, ensuring delivery against agreed objectives.
• Council Operations Management - Develop, supervise and guide Managers in the daily operations of the Council, providing administrative and logistical support to the Council, GROs and project partners to ensure efficient execution.
• Reporting & Coordination with PA HQ - Submit progress reports on the Council to PA Headquarters and provide administrative and logistical support to PA HQ-organised projects, facilitating effective communication and coordination.
• Ad-hoc Leadership Contributions - Lead or contribute to Task Forces and Committees as required, and undertake other duties assigned by the Deputy General Manager/Assistant Director, including cross-departmental projects and reviews.
