This is a high-impact role at the heart of NHGs governance agenda. Youll own the frameworks, systems, and relationships that keep NHG aligned with MOH regulations, statutory requirements, and internal policies across the cluster. Youll provide meaningful assurance to senior leadership and Board committees, and play a decisive role in identifying and mitigating compliance risks before they become problems.
You wont just maintain compliance frameworks — youll make sure theyre fit for purpose, regularly stress-tested, and effectively implemented across NHG institutions. Your benchmark for success is simple: no major compliance gaps, no regulatory surprises.
Youll plan and execute compliance monitoring activities with discipline, ensuring cycles are completed on schedule and that findings dont sit in inboxes. Follow-up actions get closed, not forgotten.
From Board committee papers to advisory requests from the ground, youll be known for producing reports that are clear, well-reasoned, and genuinely useful — not just technically complete. Stakeholders will come to you because they know theyll get a straight, well-considered answer quickly.
Youll keep NHGs obligations register accurate and current, and ensure the policy repository is never stale. Review cycles will be adhered to, and gaps will be caught before they become liabilities.
COI, Gifts amp; Hospitality, compliance training — youll drive completion rates that reflect a culture of accountability, not just box-ticking. Youll work across institutions to make sure participation is broad, timely, and meaningful.
Quality papers, accurate minutes, action items that actually get closed — youll bring the rigour and follow-through that good governance depends on.
Youll oversee CSA cycles across NHG institutions, ensuring submissions are timely and complete, and that the controls framework is well-documented and continuously improved.
Whether its audit issues, remediation actions, or compliance cases, youll maintain sharp oversight — tracking progress, escalating where needed, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. Your dashboards will be live, accurate, and trusted.
Youll go beyond reporting numbers — your trend analyses will surface patterns, flag emerging risks, and inform smarter decisions at the leadership level.
You have solid experience in compliance, risk, internal audit, or governance — ideally in healthcare or the public sector — and you know how to operate in a complex, multi-institutional environment. Youre as comfortable presenting to a Board committee as you are rolling up your sleeves to fix a process. You write well, think clearly, and hold yourself to a high standard.
Most importantly, you understand that compliance done well isnt about restriction — its about building the trust that lets an organisation like NHG do its best work.
