Job summary

NHG Health in Singapore is seeking a Senior Executive/Assistant Manager, Operations Planning to support the COO in translating complex performance data into actionable insights for capacity and resource planning.

You will collaborate across teams to provide leadership with visibility to plan confidently, shaping performance intelligence, capacity strategy, and cross-functional coordination that improves care delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline; relevant fields encouraged.
  • 1–3 years in operations, planning, strategy or coordination; healthcare/public sector is a plus.
  • Strong administrative, stakeholder management and project coordination skills.
  • Strong written and communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for research, drafting, and analysis.
  • Proficient with MS 365 apps including Copilot to prepare senior materials.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze organisational performance to inform leadership decisions and identify risks.
  • Develop planning frameworks, indicators and reporting to support capacity planning.
  • Coordinate division-wide initiatives and governance for visibility and alignment.
  • Provide secretariat support for meetings, track deliverables and decisions.

Job description

The Senior Executive/Assistant Manager, Operations Planning supports the Chief Operating Officer in driving strategy implementation and operational effectiveness across NHG Community Health. This role sits within a team responsible for translating complex operational data into insights that inform senior-level decision-making, shaping the division 's approach to capacity and resource planning and ensuring leadership has the visibility required to plan with confidence .

This role spans performance intelligence, capacity strategy, and division-wide coordination, offering exposure to the breadth of a complex healthcare division, working across teams, translating data into actionable insights and supporting decisions that have a direct bearing on care delivery.

Areas of Responsibility
Performance Analytics and Insights
  • Supports leadership decision-making by analysing organisational performance, identifying emerging trends, risks and opportunities, and translating organisational data into actionable insights.
  • Uses quantitative and qualitative data to investigate operational and planning issues, uncover underlying drivers, and surface implications for capacity, service delivery and organisational priorities.
  • Develops and enhances performance intelligence tools, indicators and reporting frameworks that provide leadership with clear visibility of division performance and support planning and resource allocation decisions.
  • Synthesise information from multiple sources to identify patterns, interdependencies and areas requiring management attention.
  • Strengthens the division 's performance intelligence capability by improving the quality, relevance and strategic value of performance reporting.
Capacity Strategy and Planning
  • Supports capacity planning in key areas (e.g. preventive health) through analysis of population needs, service demand, utilisation patterns and system constraints.
  • Identifies emerging trends, pressure points and interdependencies that may affect the delivery of community-based care.
  • Develops planning frameworks, methodologies and decision-support tools to anticipate future demand and support service expansion.
Division Planning and Strategic Coordination
  • Coordinates division-wide initiatives, staff engagements and key activities to ensure alignment with strategic priorities and visibility of organisational commitments.
  • Maintains planning and governance frameworks, including a division-wide calendar and prioritisation mechanisms, to support resource planning and leadership oversight.
  • Works across teams to align timelines, dependencies and stakeholder requirements for the successful delivery of cross-functional initiatives.
  • Supports key workgroups, committees and leadership platforms through effective secretariat support, including coordination of meetings, tracking of deliverables and follow-through of decisions.
  • Builds strong working relationships across departments and stakeholder groups, facilitating collaboration and alignment on division priorities.
  • Develops planning tools, communication materials and organisational assets that strengthen stakeholder engagement and organisational effectiveness
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education/Training/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Candidates with backgrounds in business, economics, public policy, health services, data analytics, industrial engineering or related fields may find the role particularly relevant.
  • 1 to 3 years of working experience in operations, planning, strategy or coordination role, with experience in healthcare or public sector is an advantage .
  • Must possess strong administrative, stakeholder management and project coordination skills
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Familiarity with AI tools to support research, drafting, and analysis.
  • Proficient in various computer applications, including Microsoft 365, Co-pilot, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel to support preparation of senior-level materials
