Job summary

foodpanda in Singapore seeks a senior strategist-operations lead to head a small team supporting local market teams during disruption and opportunity. You will provide temporary planning and hands-on logistics support to markets to achieve on-time reliability, speed and customer satisfaction.

As the regional expert, you travel frequently to priority markets, dive deep, and implement effective solutions with markets and stakeholders across the org.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Strategy, Business Operations, Performance Management, PMO, Consulting or Operations Excellence, preferably within technology, e-commerce, logistics or marketplace businesses.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate insights into business recommendations.
• Excellent project and program management skills with experience driving cross-functional initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
• Outstanding communication and storytelling skills with experience preparing executive-level presentations for senior leadership.
• Experience working in regional or global organisations is highly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Economics or a related field.

This could be a new competitor entering, a strong seasonal weather / demand impact that is putting a market under pressure or the need to work through logistics related measures to drive growth and profitability for the business. Your main aim is to provide temporary planning and hands on support to markets so they we can hit our reliability (on-time), speed and customer satisfaction targets from a logistics perspective.

In short - you are going where the going gets tough (quite literally, expect significant travel). You are the regional expert and go to person for markets that have strategic priority and/or significant challenges. You dive deep and work with markets through implementing effective solutions.
