Job summary

foodpanda, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is seeking a Senior Manager, Logistics Optimization (Quick Commerce) to drive strategy and execution across 16 markets in EU, APAC, and Turkey. You will partner with Product, Tech, and Data teams to optimize end-to-end logistics, cost, and delivery speed while influencing senior stakeholders and guiding cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in logistics, operations, or similar roles within tech, mobility, or delivery industries.
• Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills with senior stakeholders.
• Data-driven problem solving with ability to structure ambiguous problems and drive data-backed decisions; experience with self-serve analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) and SQL proficiency.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or another quantitative/STEM-related field is a plus.

• Define the long-term strategy for QCommerce logistics, translating business and customer needs into scalable solutions and best practices.
• Influence prioritization and investment decisions through data-driven insights and strong business cases for senior leadership.
• Act as a senior partner to Product, Tech, and Data teams to shape tools, integrations, and system capabilities.
• Translate complex operational data into clear insights, strategic recommendations, and executive-ready narratives.
• Drive large-scale optimization initiatives and continuous improvement programs with measurable impact on cost, speed, and reliability.
• Own end-to-end delivery performance, service levels, and cost efficiency, proactively identifying risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate closely with regional and local logistics and QCommerce teams to ensure consistent execution and alignment of initiatives.

Senior Manager, Logistics Optimization (Quick Commerce)

As the Senior Manager - Logistics Optimization, you will report directly to the Head of Logistics Optimization and drive the execution and continuous improvement of fast, reliable, and cost-efficient logistics. You will play a key role in ensuring seamless delivery performance, enhancing customer experience, and supporting the growth of our QCommerce ecosystem across 16 markets in EU, APAC, and Turkey.

In this role, you will set direction for optimizing logistics of our QCommerce verticals, lead complex cross-functional initiatives, and act as a senior thought partner to regional and global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Define the long-term strategy for QCommerce logistics, translating business and customer needs into scalable solutions and best practices

Influence prioritization and investment decisions through data-driven insights and strong business cases for senior leadership

Act as a senior partner to Product, Tech, and Data teams to shape tools, integrations, and system capabilities

Translate complex operational data into clear insights, strategic recommendations, and executive-ready narratives

Drive large‑scale optimization initiatives and continuous improvement programs with measurable impact on cost, speed, and reliability

Own end‑to‑end delivery performance, service levels, and cost efficiency, proactively identifying risks and opportunities

Coordinate closely with regional and local logistics and QCommerce teams to ensure consistent execution and alignment of initiatives

7+ years of proven experience in logistics, operations, or similar roles within tech, mobility, or delivery industries

Demonstrated success leading complex, multi‑market operations or optimization initiatives at scale

Data‑driven approach to problem-solving, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and drive data‑backed decisions; experience with self‑serve analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) and SQL proficiency required

Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with experience influencing senior stakeholders

Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills, with experience working across diverse markets and teams

Comfortable challenging the status quo, adaptable and dynamic, thriving in fast‑paced operational environments

Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or another quantitative/STEM‑related field is a plus
