Job summary

Good Job Creations (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor/Manager to lead the M&E QS team across multiple projects. You will supervise BQ preparation, cost planning, tender submissions and provide commercial input during design development.

You will collaborate with Design, Engineering, BIM and Project teams to ensure cost-effective, buildable designs, lead cost optimization programmes, and monitor budgets, forecasts, and profitability while mentoring the QS team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of M&E quantity surveying experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong BQ preparation, tendering, cost planning and final accounts experience.
• Detailed understanding of M&E design, Design & Build (D&B) project delivery, and engineering coordination.

• Review M&E design proposals and provide commercial input during the design development stage.
• Collaborate with the Design, Engineering, BIM, and Project teams to ensure cost-effective and buildable design solutions.
• Lead value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
• Monitor design changes and assess their impact on project cost, procurement, and project profitability.
• Manage procurement strategies, subcontractor evaluations, and commercial negotiations.
• Oversee contract administration, progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
• Monitor project budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and overall commercial performance.
• Mentor and develop the QS team.
• Any assigned ad-hoc duties.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in M&E quantity surveying, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong experience in BQ preparation, tendering, cost planning, contract administration, and final accounts.
• Strong understanding of M&E design, Design & Build (D&B) project delivery, and engineering coordination.
• Ability to review M&E design drawings and provide commercial and cost management advice throughout the design process.
• Experience in value engineering and cost optimization.
• Excellent leadership, commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Advantage

• Familiarity with Singapore standard forms of contract (PSSCOC, SIA, FIDIC) .
• Experience with BIM-based quantity take-off and cost management software.
