Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a qualified M&E Engineer to lead the design and coordination of M&E systems across various projects. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering, with at least 8 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD and Revit MEP is required. This role involves ensuring timely delivery, conducting feasibility studies, and ensuring compliance with design standards.

Job Description
  • Lead the design and coordination of M&E systems, including ACMV, electrical, ELV, plumbing, sanitary, fire protection etc.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, prepare engineering reports, and review drawings and specifications.
  • Plan, manage, and supervise M&E works across all project phases.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of M&E systems.
  • Monitor project progress and resolve technical issues on-site.
  • Conduct quality checks and ensure all M&E works meet design and safety standards.
  • Enforce workplace safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, and other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of M&E systems.
  • Work closely with contractors and vendors to ensure accurate delivery of materials and systems.
  • Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover of M&E systems.
  • Ensure that systems function effectively and meet client requirements.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports, technical documents, and completion reports.
  • Maintain project documentation and as-built drawings.
  • Able to support Tender preparation and submission.
Job Requirement
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical , Electrical Engineering or Automative Engineering or related field from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in M&E Engineering.
  • Proficient in M&E design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit MEP) and project management tools.
  • 6 Working Days per week.
