• Familiarity with TMS or similar logistics systems.
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.

Purpose of the Role

We are seeking an experienced logistics professional to oversee and coordinate daily cross-border transportation operations. The ideal candidate must possess strong customer service skills, operational problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to effectively coordinate with customers, transport partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless shipment execution.

This role requires a proactive and hands-on individual who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and is able to manage transportation activities, customer expectations, operational, and work closely with subcontractors while ensuring high service standards are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities

Cross-Border Transportation Operations

• Manage day-to-day cross-border transportation operations to ensure timely and accurate shipment execution.
• Coordinate closely with customers, transport planners, drivers, agents, and internal operational teams to support smooth shipment coordination.
• Monitor shipment and proactively resolve operational issues to prevent delays and service disruptions.
• Ensure all transportation documentation, permits, declarations, and operational records are accurately maintained.
• Execute transportation activities in accordance with established SOPs, customer requirements, and agreed service levels.
• Handle transportation-related escalations and drive prompt resolution to maintain customer satisfaction.

Customer Service & Account Management

• Serve as the key point of contact for customers on operational matters and shipment enquiries.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers through effective communication and problem resolution.
• Provide timely shipment status updates and manage customer expectations throughout the transportation process.
• Handle customer feedback, operational exceptions, and service recovery actions professionally.

Subcontractor & Vendor Management

• Manage relationships with transport subcontractors and service providers.
• Work collaboratively with subcontractors to address service gaps, improve performance, and implement corrective actions if required.

Requirements:

We are looking for candidates with:

• Minimum of 3 to 8 years of experience in transportation, cross-border logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain logistics field.
• Hands-on experience coordinating cross-border shipments.
• Strong customer service and account management experience.
• Experience managing transportation vendors, haulers, or subcontractors
• Familiarity with TMS or similar logistics systems.
