• Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and manage risks.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance and Business Development on procurement matters.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Procurement Executive to support procurement activities across Singapore and Malaysia. This role focuses on sourcing, vendor management, contract administration, rate negotiations, and cost optimization for logistics and transportation-related services.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate & onboard vendors for transportation, warehousing, freight, and logistics-related services.
• Conduct RFQs, tender exercises, quotation analysis, and vendor selection activities.
• Negotiate rates, commercial terms, and service agreements to achieve cost savings and operational efficiencies.
• Monitor vendor performance against agreed service levels (SLA) and address performance gaps where necessary.
• Support contract administration, including contract renewals, amendments, and compliance monitoring.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with logistics service providers and key stakeholders.
• Analyse procurement spend, market trends, and vendor performance data to identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and governance requirements.
• Support vendor risk management initiatives and identify suitable alternative vendors for critical services.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Transport, Warehouse, Finance, and Business Development teams on procurement-related matters.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who bring energy, curiosity, and a willingness to learn. The ideal candidate will have:

• Prior experience within freight forwarding, transportation, contract logistics, warehousing, or supply chain or related industries is highly preferred
• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Procurement, or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 3 to 4 years in procurement experience
• Experience managing RFQs, tender exercises, vendor sourcing, and supplier negotiations.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse quotations, rates, and cost structures.

Preferred Requirements

• Knowledge of Singapore and Malaysia transportation and logistics markets.
• Exposure to cross-border logistics operations will be advantageous.
• Familiarity with procurement systems and vendor management processes.
