Job summary

National Environment Agency is seeking a Deputy Principal/Senior/Executive Engineer to oversee operating and maintaining Semakau Landfill offshore and the Tuas Marine Transfer Station. You will lead a structured O&M programme, call for tenders, and administer contracts for facilities and infrastructure.

You will manage safety, coordinate with NEA and external partners, and contribute to ISO 9001/14001, ECO initiatives, and sustainability projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering recognised by Professional Engineer Board.
At least 3 years of experience in consultancy, construction or infrastructure.
Experience in project management, procurement or contract management is preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

Take charge of planning, organizing and implementing a structured O&M programme for Semakau Landfill and Tuas Marine Transfer Station.
Prepare specifications, call tenders/quotations, and administer contracts for O&M works and related projects.
Lead Engineering Managers and Senior Executives to supervise O&M contractors for landfilling operations.
Review and manage safety and security of infrastructure to mitigate hazards at SL and TMTS.
Coordinate with NEA or external agencies on projects and participate in process-improvement initiatives.
Contribute to ISO9001/14001, ECO office, energy efficiency and sustainability activities.
