Plant Facilities Engineering Lead — Maintenance & Safety

Job summary

National Environment Agency seeks an Engineer at Tuas South Incineration Plant to maintain building facilities, oversee maintenance, repairs, refurbishment and cleaning of the site.

You will lead a team of technical officers, manage security and fire protection systems, drive reviews on Workplace Safety and Health, and coordinate tenders and contracts for facilities management in compliance with NEA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Experience in government procurement and contract administration, including drafting of tender documents will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of technical officers to oversee the general maintenance, repairs, refurbishment and cleaning of the facility
• Manage security and fire fighting system within the premises
• Lead and coordinate review on Workplace Safety and Health issues
• Call and administer tenders/contract related to facilities management, building maintenance and safety, while ensuring compliance with NEA procurement guidelines and IM requirements.
• Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned
