• Experience in Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Environmental Monitoring and Management Plans (EMMP).
• Experience in government funding processes and IMs.
• Experience with public sector procurement including tender specs, evaluation, contract administration; familiarity with PSSCOC.
• Experience engaging government agencies, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders on environmental/regulatory matters.
• Ability to analyse complex technical issues and develop practical engineering solutions.
• Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills to senior management.

What the role is

The Project Office plans and carries out the engineering design and development of infrastructure for recovery and reuse of landfilled mixed materials to help meet Singapore’s waste management and sustainability objectives. You will work closely with internal stakeholders within NEA and the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE), as well as external stakeholders e.g. other technical agencies, engineering consultancy and construction firms, to ensure the successful delivery of the project objectives.

What you will be working on

• Experience in engaging and coordinating with government agencies, consultants, contractors and other internal and external stakeholders, particularly on environmental, regulatory and project matters.
