Job summary

National Environment Agency in Singapore invites engineers with 5–7 years of infrastructure project management experience to join the Waste Residues Treatment Branch. You will plan, design and execute waste infrastructure projects, coordinating with consultants, contractors, and government partners.

You will manage funding cycles, obtain approvals, draft specifications, and supervise procurement while ensuring on-time delivery and compliance.

Qualifications

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering.
• 5-7 years of relevant infrastructure project management experience.
• Strong written and spoken communication with analytical skills.
• Strategic thinking and ability to plan and execute initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and control projects that are assigned to you
• Plan and manage funding and budget planning cycles for projects
• Obtain planning approval and funding support
• Draft project specifications to bring on board consultants and contractors
• Manage the procurement processes to appoint project consultants and/or contractors
• Liaise and work with stakeholders such as consultants, contractors, recycling companies, industry associations, Agencies and NEA departments
• Review and coordinate engineering designs, specifications, drawings and technical submissions to support the implementation of assigned projects
• Work on ad-hoc work, projects helmed by the department and events as assigned
