Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering.
• Physically fit to supervise activities at construction sites including Semakau Landfill on ad hoc basis.
• 5-7 years of relevant working experience in infrastructure project management, construction management, or procurement in large construction projects.
• Experience in Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Environmental Monitoring and Management Plans (EMMP).
• Experience in government funding processes and IMs.
• Experience with public sector procurement including tender specs, evaluation, contract administration; familiarity with PSSCOC.
• Experience engaging government agencies, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders on environmental/regulatory matters.
• Ability to analyse complex technical issues and develop practical engineering solutions.
• Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and control projects assigned to you.
• Prepare and review tender specifications, technical requirements, evaluation criteria and contract documentation.
• Propose budget plans, manage project scope, cashflow, schedule, risks, and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with technical, contractual, safety and environmental requirements.
• Coordinate site investigations, environmental impact and engineering assessments required for project implementation.
• Engage stakeholders, including government agencies, consultants, and contractors for project implementation.
