The Project Office plans and carries out the engineering design and development of infrastructure for recovery and reuse of landfilled mixed materials to help meet Singapore's waste management and sustainability objectives. Qualifications

  • > Relevant Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering.
  • > Physically fit to supervise activities at construction sites and/or Semakau Landfill on ad hoc basis, including taking of ferries.
  • > 5-7 years of relevant working experience in infrastructure project management, construction management, or procurement in large construction projects.
  • > Experience in Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Environmental Monitoring and Management Plans (EMMP) including review and coordination of environmental studies for infrastructure or development projects.
  • > Experience in government funding processes and IMs.
  • > Experience with public sector procurement including preparation of tender specifications, tender evaluation, contract administration and management of consultants and contractors; familiarity with PSSCOC.
  • > Experience in engaging and coordinating with government agencies, consultants, contractors and other internal and external stakeholders, particularly on environmental, regulatory and project matters.
  • > Ability to analyse complex technical issues and develop practical engineering solutions.
  • > Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills to senior management.
  • > As part of the shortlisting process for this role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.

  • Coordinate site investigations, environmental impact and engineering assessments required for project implementation.
  • Engage stakeholders, including government agencies, consultants, and contractors for project implementation.
