Xcellink Pte Ltd, consulted as a software engineering partner for a Singapore government statutory board, seeks a seasoned software engineer focused on devices. You will gather requirements, design, develop and maintain enterprise-grade software across Java/JEE, databases, and modern containerized architectures.

Responsibilities include SDLC deliverables, application support, and collaboration with users on requirements, design and testing issues.

Formación

• Recognised degree in Computer Science, IT or engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant software development experience.
• Experience through at least one full SDLC with deliverables documentation.
• Extensive Java/JEE, UNIX/Linux and Windows development experience.
• Proficient in SQL databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Software Modernization, Containerization, Microservices.
• Proficient in Agile development and CI/CD.
• Experience with AWS ECS and Docker containerization; DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good written and verbal English; team player.
• Added advantage: Solace or other Message Queues; Kubernetes; AWS services like ECS/RDS/Lambda; AFC systems; Active Directory; HTML/JS; Angular; Java unit test frameworks

Responsabilidades

• Requirements gathering; liaise with users on requirements, design and testing issues.
• Design, development and maintenance of the software.
• Prepare and submit SDLC deliverables such as SRS, Architecture docs, design specs and manuals.
• Assist the Authority with day-to-day application support issues.
• Collaborate with users and stakeholders across requirement, design and testing phases.
