Job summary

Optimum Solutions Singapore is seeking a Lead Java Solutions Engineer to design, build, and support enterprise applications for a leading banking organisation. The role focuses on robust backend development with Java/Spring Boot and driving CI/CD pipelines for seamless releases.

You will lead deployment planning across UAT and production, automate configuration tasks on Linux, and collaborate with infrastructure, QA, security, and production teams to maintain high availability and governance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Hands-on DevOps experience with Jenkins and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong Linux operations and shell scripting skills.
• Experience with enterprise tools: Control-M, Aldon, Connect: Direct.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain back-end components using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build, manage, and optimise Jenkins pipelines for CI/CD workflows.
• Plan and execute end-to-end deployments across UAT and production environments.
• Administer environment configurations, troubleshooting, and automation with Linux and shell scripting.
• Manage job scheduling and batch processing using Control-M, Aldon, and Connect: Direct.
• Collaborate with infra, QA, security, and production support to ensure release governance and high availability.
