Job summary

re-zoo-me is seeking an experienced Java Developer with DevOps/Infrastructure expertise to support a Data Centre Migration project for a Banking customer in Singapore.

Develop and maintain Java-based microservices, implement monitoring, logging, and alerting, ensure security best practices, and troubleshoot across dev/test/production. Collaborate with engineers, QA, and product teams and stay current with Java/DevOps trends.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of overall experience.
• Java development with backend focus (Microservices, Spring Boot, collections, low latency, multithreading, concurrency).
• Infrastructure & DevOps with deployment, server connectivity, and resource management.
• Containerization (Kubernetes, Podman) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in AWS/Azure/Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based applications and microservices.
• Design and deploy monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
• Ensure security best practices are followed throughout all stages of development and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
• Collaborate with software engineers, QA analysts, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Java development and DevOps.
